Course of activity:

Start 9 am at Husky Farm
4×4 transfer to the Husky Mountain Hut
Short hike (depending on snow conditions)
Theoretical and practical introduction into the world of sled dogs and dog sledding
Introduction of the Huskies
Preparation of the equipment for the tour
Start of the 2 day dog sledding tour with overnight in rustic mountain cabin
Return to Husky Farm around 5 pm the 2nd day

Service included:

• Transfer to Mountain Hut
• Sled trip Nilfe as mentioned above
• 1 Night in basic mountain cabin
• All meals during the tour included (starting with lunch on the 1st day and ending with lunch on the 2nd day)
• Free rental equipment: sleeping bags, mattresses. Winter clothing on request!

• Meals and drinks beside the tour
• Tips
• Personal Winter Clothing
• Insurance

Because of the special climate in Patagonia and the volcanic activity in Chile, Aurora Austral reserves the right, at the discretion of guides and specialists, to change or modify the routing for reasons of safety, due to climate conditions or for the well being of the guests. In such a case a similar program will be arranged with no differences in quality or length.
