Discover, by the hand a professional guide, one of the most beautiful mountain areas in Chile, at the very feet of the active Villarrica Volcano and the Villarrica National Park. 
Spend a full day under one of the most active Volcanos in the world, and get an environmentally friendly, exciting and new scope on nature and winter in the breathtaking south of Chile.
Learn how to take care of “your” sled dogs and how to steer a team of Huskies while being led by a professional guide. Usually all our Tours are guided by Konrad himself.
This tour will bring you close to the huskies, and give you a better understanding of the world of mushing and dog sledding. Interact with your “own” dogs and enroll to work with them, as a team. They will reward you with their passion for running and the occasional husky kisses.
At the end of the tour we will sit together, enjoy some snacks and drinks, and there will be time for sharing good stories and asking anything you ever wondered about dog sledding and huskies.

Start 9 am at Husky Farm
4×4 transfer to the Husky Mountain Hut
Short hike (depending on snow conditions)
Theoretical and practical introduction into the world of sled dogs and dog sledding
Introduction of the Huskies
Preparation of the equipment for the tour
Start of the dog sledding tour
Return to Husky Farm around 5 pm

Transfer from/ to Husky Farm to Mountain Hut in 4×4

Because of the special climate in Patagonia and the volcanic activity in Chile, Aurora Austral reserves the right, at the discretion of guides and specialists, to change or modify the routing for reasons of safety, due to climate conditions or for the well being of the guests. In such a case a similar program will be arranged with no differences in quality or length.
